I wouldn’t have thought so – I always remove stickers from my laptops, desktops, cars, etc. and the ones on my Dell came off as easily as those on my NC10.
My car needed the hairdryer to remove its stickers, but I can’t recommend this approach on an N110 😉
June 15, 2009 at 11:05 am #183649SupersmurfenMemberThanks for the hint about using Raid! It serves dual purposes, other that removing the goo, it will take care of any bugs in your computer! 😉

large one gone, but two small ones aren’t that bothersome. I have a tip for sticker removal.Heat it up with a blowdryer and the sticky goo softens and it becomes really easy to take off. If the goos are not coming off easily after the sticker is off, soak paper towel with “raid”, the roach killer, and wipe it and goo is gone.
Of course, when you use the raid, make sure you try it out on the bottom of the laptop and see if there’s any discoloration.
Above were just my tips for general sticker removal. I am sure those two little sticker removal wouldn’t be such a problem.

Been nice and clean for a while now.
June 15, 2009 at 4:22 pm #183626TCMuffinMemberApart from the fact of free advertising when the Sammy’s lid is open, I don’t mind the silver ‘Samsung’ logo on the back of my NC10, but thank you for sharing your Sammy’s image 🙂
June 16, 2009 at 8:23 am #183611jezMemberI have added some tips here:

As always, feel free to edit in your own tips 🙂June 17, 2009 at 8:37 am #183664roy_drageMemberI removed my stickers last night. Came off easily using just my finger nail and didn’t leave any residue at all. Not so sure i’m ready to tackle to Sammy logo just yet but give it time!

Will removing the stickers affecting the one-year warranty? :S
[/quote1245276607]Are the new NC10s coming with 1 year warranties? I picked mine up in Nov. 08 and it had a 3 year.
June 21, 2009 at 8:56 am #183666svmMemberI don’t undersand why anyone would want to keep those garish stickers on their laptop! The one I find most offensive is “designed for windows”
– clearly a lie, considering that the NC10 can run pretty much any OS out there. No need to bust out the raid guys, I found that a little rubbing alcohol did the job just fine. Also good for cleaning fingerprints and dirt off the lid.

July 30, 2009 at 11:53 pm #183665dulcificumMemberI just removed all the stickers on my white NC10 – the three inside and the SAMSUNG logo on the lid. The big Samsung one of the left was the hardest and left a lot of glue (my NC10 is quite old now) but a damp cloth and fingernails finally cleaned it up. It looks clean and lush now.
If only I knew how to remove the red stain from my cheap neoprene cover though (http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.15379)

July 19, 2010 at 11:15 pm #183668azotypMemberHi I have a question about removing stickers in nc 10. I removed the intel atom and windows xp one (at the top) there was some glue but I cleaned it untill surface was smooth and not sticky. But when looking close I can still see two square places that “stand out” from the surface. Like it would not be the same texture. is there a way to remove those (or is it just the way the plastic looks unther those stickers) ?
