OUTATIME
MemberHi all,
I’m very close to removing the Intel – Atom and Designed for Windows XP stickers from my black NC10, I was just wondering if anyone else had done so already, and if it was an ordeal.
I’m slightly worried that if they’re resilient stickers they’ll leave marks or glue residue on the machine. Being matt black polishing the surface after removal isn’t really an option either.
Thank you,
Alex.

MemberI tried to do that with my Acer laptop and they really didn’t come off at all easily and left a mark – I’d be careful.

ParticipantI removed/replaced mine, they were easy to remove and didn’t leave much residue behind, which I rubbed off with my hand.
I didn’t use any tools, just my finger nails.

MemberAlso removed these – the first thing I did in fact! they come off very cleanly but any residual stickiness can be wiped off easily with a damp cloth or windowleen or something – choose carefully and check it’s safe first 😉

MemberI don’t know why they are sticking this…
I was in a TV seller this afternoon, and nowadays TV are full of this kind on sticker : “full HD” “Energy superstar”, “I am a TV”, “buy me”, “1080p for sure”…
I hate that. 😉I thought that it’s very difficult to remove my NC10’s stickers, but i will try. Thanks guys.

MemberIt’s done, very quick.
Just the “nano silver stick” leave some glue but easy so swip off.
Should be done early, cause after a long time it will leave some mark.

MemberI couldn’t stand the stickers, so I removed them from my black NC10. It looks much better now. OP, I highly recommend you remove the stickers.

MemberIf there is any glue left on the NC10 use the back (Sticky side) of the sticker you’ve just puled off to remove it.

MemberThis may sound silly, but seriously, have your NC10 on for an hour or so before removing the stickers. It’ll make removing the stickers that little bit easier when its warmed up a little.
I also kept the stickers, just put them on the underside, just in case I ever resell the NC10, little things like that make the sale more attractive as the product looks as new 😉
