Home › Forums › Discussion › Off Topic › Insult to injury: my Blackberry's speakers are better than my NC10's.
I just upgraded my phone, as I was up for a contract renewal. I went with a Blackberry Bold, as I wanted internet access, but am not a fan of having to use iTunes for pretty much anything.
While playing with the media player on the phone, I noticed two things:
1. It rendered my iPod Nano useless. (incidentally, I used Winamp instead of iTunes for music transfers; and it was free). It plays more media, and has a better screen for videos.
2. The speaker overpowered my NC10’s. Playing Hell March from Red Alert (a good all around song for testing speakers for my personal uses), it was able to punch out better and louder sound.
the speakers on the NC10 are the biggest disappointment for me: I can barely hear when I’m in the car, so I can’t use it for GPS purposes.
Can you use the headphone output and amplify it through the car stereo via a suitable lead?
I agree. When I connected my NC10 up to my TV I could hardly here it on max volume. Once I hunted around for the right lead I was able to get the TV to amplify the signal.
Perhaps we need a thread on “best portable external speakers for an NC10”
