anyone got any tips on the above? im playing gta vice city currently and its quite slow and stuttery. ive defragged the hard drive and stopped all non relevant processes running and am just wondering if theres anything else i can do ?. i’m upgrading my ram to 2gb, will this solve the problem?
I’m afraid theres not a lot you can do to improve performance as the NC10’s Intel graphics are very weak. I think it’s a miracle they do run some stuff to be honest! I found Vice City to be just about playable. Try turning off hardware sound acceleration (Start, Run, type Dxdiag) You can also set driver memory footprint to high in the Intel settings.
I mainly play 2d stuff that runs nice and i’m happy with that! I’ve got an Xbox 360 for games so I like something simple to play on my NC10 whenever I have time to kill.
