I'm really not sure if I need to upgrade to 2 RAM.

I have been enjoying my Sammy. I use it in the evenings when I’m home.

Anyway, I’m not sure if I need to upgrade from 1 to 2 GB ram. I don’t play games. What I do it edit photos (right now I’m planning to use Picasa, but may move to CS3), upload/store photos, check emails, surf the net, and do lots of word documents. Sometimes I have several screens open

The upgraded ram seems very inexpensive, so is it best to upgrade the Sammy? Will it make things faster? Things like this I’m not sure about.

Hi Monica. There are a few thread on this around and generally the response is “it won’t make a big difference but for the price it is probably worth doing”! 🙂

I didn’t really notice any major change but I bet from time to time it has kicked in.

i haven’t heard of anybody regretting buying the 2gb upgrade.
its only a good thing imo.

There are plenty of suggestions on where to buy around the forum :). Give Amazon a go or where ever you prefer!

Let us know how the install goes :D. Take care when opening up – although some people (such as me) find it gives them no problems at all.
