Seriously, when first opened I placed it on a table and it rocked a little.
When fitting the battery is seemed to sort it but even looking under now, the right nearside corner is *just* above the desk.
I thought it looked a bit bent but I thought it was an illusion.
Should I accept my little Sammy is bent? I mean this is the 21st Century 😉
Is it bent enough that it’s going to be annoying when typing on?
If so I would try and get a replacement.Just making sure, but it’s not your desk with the bend is it. I remember when I bought a new keyboard a while back and I thought it was bent as it rocked slightly, it took me a while to realise it was actually my desk…
No, it’s not annoying really as I dont type far down to the right enough for it to rock.
It’s not the desk as I tried two.
I guess there is more chance of experiencing a harsher problem so I’ll live with my little bender 🙂
No, they are all secure.
I just think the unit is slightly disfigured but not in visibly to the naked eye.

I’d take this minor issue over screen blotches and dead pixles any day!
Plus my work put £50 towards my sammy so at £250 I guess I cant be choosey! 🙂
Have to admit mine seems pretty straight – but in the 21st century our netbooks are surely free to express themselves how ever they like ;)!
But seriously, I do think the build quality of the NC10 is generally good given the price. There are a few things that could be improved but no deal breakers.
Could a solution be to build up or shave off some material from the feet to get it steady? I bet it could be a little annoying to have your keyboard rocking as you type! But if you only ever have it on your lap then it is prob not a biggy!
