i need to find out how to do the above as my sammys slowing down with all the flms and music ive downloaded. can anyone help?
If its a USB one – you can just move the USB connector across from your Desktop PC to your Sammy.
The other option is to share it across the network, but would be useful to know what OS is on your main machine.
go to, settings network connections then set up a home or small office network. in the tasks section. follow instructions. then do some on other pc. then when both restarted goto the folders you want to share right click share folder. then go to my network places on the other pc and you will see the shared folders. as long as you have no 3rd party firewalls running it will work.
Just a quick point on this subject as I am trying to do the same but with two laptops. Do I have to cable connect one of the laptops to the wireless router or cannot this be configured wirelessly. Is there a step by step guide or a buddy help? Thanks very much Mark
