Home › Forums › Operating Systems › Windows 7 › How to dual boot vista and win7???
I already downloaded the win7 iso file and extracted onto the partition D of the nc10.
My question is, if I go ahead and install the windows 7 on D drive, would that be all I need to do to dual boot or is there something I need to fiddle around with to be able to switch back and forth between them??
Another question, if I install the win7 and I don’tlike it, or if it expired in august, how do I go about getting rid of it? Do I just wipe the D drive and that will be it? or is there something more complicated ?
Forgive my ignorance. I am just an average computer user, not a techie!
Thanks if you anyone could help!

Thanks, Tapout for those links.
It’s not that I don’t like the windows 7 or anything, but the vista that I originally had wasn’t a legit version and I don’t have the product key for it and the win7 is asking me to enter the vista product key to activate the win7 or it will expire in 30 days. So, I am thinking about just getting rid of it altogether because it’s too much of a hassle anyway to keep two OS on a small hard drive, etc, etc.
Anyone know how to remove win 7 in a multiboot system that has vista? thx ! I appreciate your help
