Anyone else tempted by these things?
Should be showing up at the end of October (My supplier says 500 on the 22nd @£499.99+vat) and I’ve been having a bit of a play with Android on my HD2 over the last few months while trying to decide if I should get the HD3/7 or the Desire HD…December is going to be a hard choice month for me, the original plan was get a new phone and then sell my old phone and N200 to get the NF310, descisions descisions…
October 2, 2010 at 3:10 pm #216385jezMemberI have been strongly considering buying one, I’ve been interested in tablets for some time, even having a look at them back when I bought my NC10 and now it seems that the Galaxy Tab will meet my needs. Lots of ticks in the right boxes.
Unfortunately it is a little on the pricey side. If it had been a couple hundred quid less I would have gone for it but if the price really is around £600 including VAT then we’ll have to see.
I set up a Galaxy Tab blog in anticipation of a purchase – at the moment it’s just a round up of news though.
I have also set up a Galaxy Tab Forum area over on the wiki – my long term goal is to try and grew a larger sammy community so hopefully I can get it kick started. A few people are already chatting about the Tab there so any posts from interested people would be massively appreciated as it will help get things going. Of course posting here is cool too :)!
Which supplier was that? I think I saw that site (I read a post stating a shop had 500 for mid October release) and was looking for it again but couldn’t find it. Everyone else is suggesting Nov 1st as the release date so if somewhere was going to ship early that would be of interest. Getting one of these first would be a great help to getting the Tab blog/forum started! 🙂

I have the following choice.
Desire HD, this would replace my existing HD2
NF310, would replace the N220 and most likely get the SSD from the N220
Galaxy Tab, Would replace the N220.
I’d like to add the HD3/7 or whatever its called to that list but I’m being told that I wont be able to get one this year as they are o2 only..January 27, 2011 at 7:45 am #216384AnonymousGuestSamsung Galaxy tab is the first post-iPad tablet that matters, because it’s the first tablet that’s trying to be legitimate competition. Powered by iOS’s biggest rival, the Tab essentially kicks off the next generation of tablets. And, at the size of a paperback, it’s one of the first to seriously test how well a seven-inch tablet really works. There’s a lot riding on this thing.it’s what makes browsing, reading, creating and sharing better on a tablet than on a phone, even if they’re both running the same software.it really outstanding amazing one.
