well I have made a couple posts already.. but my blue NC10 arrived today from Amazon.com. $487 inc overnight delivery! Love it so far, need to tweak the trackpad settings a bit still. I did a format and clean install of xp with 2 partitions.I liked the driver disk being able to check all the drivers i wanted to reinstall. basically everything less Mcafee… I am running ESET NOD 32 security suite and spyeraser and still it loads very fast….just trying to solve a network issue with my laptop computer not letting me access files from the netbook over my home network…. The screen clarity for being so small is incredible…. A plus to Samsung making their own LCD s and have lots of experience in this field.
look forward to lots of fun with it. my external DVD drive worked perfect. DRX-S50U Refirb from sonystyle $34.99+shipping. got a 2GB samsung brand ram coming via an ebay seller..
I want to learn linux at some point and run it but decided to make a partition on my laptop instead of this netbook first to learn it as it had a bigger hard drive and more free space to spare
One of my main reasons for getting a net book was being a master auto technician i wanted to be able to run diagnostic software on a portable system that i can take in and out of cars easily…. my laptop is to heavy and big for that purpose … i think this netbook is gonna fit the bill perfect
Found this site and netbook forums helpful in deciding which netbook to buy…… thanks againDecember 10, 2008 at 9:31 am #174554jezMember[quote1228901413=soutthpaw]

[/quote1228901413]Glad you found the site useful! And good to hear you will be putting your NC10 to some real work! I think most will ned up being used for casual browsing and stuff (like mine!). Glad to hear it seems to meet your needs so far, let us know if you change your mind after some practical use!
Cheers.

I know what you mean about the screen clarity. I compared the NC10 to my old HP laptop yesterday and was amazed at how much crisper and brighter it was.
The NC10 sounds absolutely perfect for your work – I can see why you didn’t go for the white one though! 😀

as for blue laptop it matches my Cochlear Implant processors which are also blue… (yep I am Deaf) -
