I’ve been looking at the various netbooks that are available for quite a while and finally decided on the Black NC10, which I’ve just ordered from Dixons.
Going to be using it for taking notes during lectures, web, email, playing some old games and programming, with a little bit of image editing. It’s replacing an old laptop which is affectionately nicknamed the paving slab for it’s size, weight and look.
First thing I intend to do is install a Linux distribution on it (Fedora) so I can dual boot it with Windows XP, though I don’t intend to use Windows much.
I’m glad I found this site, it’s already proven to be a very useful source of information.

Let us know how your Linux installation and dual boot goes. I think a few people will be very interested to hear about how you get it all running.
