MemberBought an NC10 at the weekend and my wife isn’t at all imressed with the amount of time I’ve been spending with it!
I’ve found the update programme seems to work (to an extent – 3 drivers updated) but there appear to be a lot more driver and software downloads available on the Samsung website – how can I tell if these are relevant or not? I can obviously look at the dates on them but how can I tell whether my machine already has them (or not).

MemberI should add that I’ve seen the thread concerning drivers, but this doesn’t (at the moment) help me to know what I’ve already got / need – it’s which updates I need rather than what they are / how to download.

MemberWelcome to the forum. 🙂
Congratulation on getting the Sammy. 🙂
I follow the rule – if it is not broken, I don’t update.
Some people like to get the latest; others don’t.
Its up to you.

MemberThe most relevant driver update would be the WLAN-one. To check driver versions just check in Device Manager and there you can see what driver version you have and download and update if you want to.

MemberThanks guys – I guess that as long as I get AV and Windows updates, all should be well, and if there’s anything critical no doubt it will be shouted from the rooftops on the forum.
