Okay so I had my Netbook plugged in and charging and I tripped over the wire yanking it out of the netbook and damaging the port in the process. How can I repair this???????? The Netbook is fine and works fine, I just have no way to recharge the battery now!! Ugh! This Netbook is barely a year old! 🙁 I am trying to post a photo, but this site will not let me. Where can I get a new motherboard for the NC10???? and how hard is it to replace??

Some people split machines on Ebay too so that’s always worth a look.It is also possible to resolder a replacement connector to the board. Needs a delicate hand though!
Thanks for the reply. I am in the US. Is Digicare UK? The Samsung company told me to mail it to them (over 80 bucks just to look at it) and pay some unknown amount for them to replace the motherboard. They did not mention a replacement part for just the jack. Do you know where I would even begin to look for just that part (besides Ebay)??? Thanks!
The service centres just replace the entire board at great cost. If the machine’s still working you might be able to find a local electronics tech who can solder a replacement connector on. I did that to an old Dell machine I have. Still working after 5+ years as a fileserver. I used a convenient 2.1mm barrel connector and replaced both parts, mounting the computer end to a convenient blanking plate over the 56KModem slot.
