Hi everyone, I was wondering if you could help with a quick question – I’m sure the answer is out there although just wanted confirmation prior to spending my hard earned money!
I tend to use my laptop to watch streamed content over the Net, whilst having Microsoft Office open for study or work and having a further few internet windows open at the same time!
From your experience, would the NC10, which seems the best out there, be ok to handle this without any lag or would the performance significantly decrease, or am I best to stick with my laptop for this
Thanks for the help!
I had exactly the same kind of doubts, you’ll seriously be suprised though… it’ll handle that, and more without even upgrading the RAM.
I’m more worried about how future proof these netbooks are… but then again, they’re cheap enough to replace every year, even for a poor student, lol.
Should run fine, but if as you said your going to have a few different apps open, you’ll probably want to read over some of the tweeks that are posted in general. Rams cheap these days so even if you find that things are a bit slow, you can pop a 2gb stick in and the problems *should* all go away.
Exactly as I do with my Sammy mate, hadles it like a breeze (on stock RAM).
The only problem at times is screen real estate, so I forget to study and watch the programs instead lol.
