I’ve been viewing this site and others for a couple of weeks now and have decided to take the plunge – i’ve ordered a black NC10 from Pixmania today.

Hi Genie, I’m in sunny (at the moment) Southport as well. Which area of the town are you in?

Well it was picked by DHL from Pixmania on Monday evening and it recieved it yesteday at approx 3pm.
I opened it up today at approx 4pm and it took over half an hour to bring the battery to full charge.
Currently running through the “recovery solutions” bit at the moment.
Then i’ll have to install windows update and anti-virus plus any software I want on it.
I’ve noticed that the machine is very light without the battery !!!

Top stuff Mike, yeah the NC10 is really light without the batter, which is good. I’m not too far from Sunny Southport, I’m in Liverpool.
