I think it’s a mistake.
Intel certainly does not provide chipset limited to 1 GB with Atom support.
Let’s wait more information about specifications…I think this is a mistake as well. I think they used a template from the original NC10 web page. Samsung updated that one when they got a flood of emails asking about maximum RAM, but no one updated the template. Also, the original NC10 site said that the NC10 did not have an LED backlit screen. I emailed twice before they finally called Korea and corrected their mistake.
Now, it is true that the Dell 12″ is limted to 1 GB RAM because of the processor and chipset used, but I don’t know of any other N270 GM450 netbbooks that are limited to 1 GB RAM.
Time will tell, but I wouldn’t get too excited about this yet.
