Hi,
Does anyone have this problem in XP Home – If you set up a guest account – The samsung sofware start complaining about file persmissions and as a result you can use eg: the battery meter and the like…
I had exactly the same problem and would be interested to know if their was a solution too! It happens for any account that doesnt have admin rights.
Maybe it’s like that Steven King movie called Christine with the demon car. Your NC10 only loves you and if someone else tries to use it they will be maimed or thwarted
LOL
The Guest account is by default (and design) a minimum rights account. In Windows XP Pro you can make a new user account and give it “Power User” status, to see if that gives it sufficient rights to run the utilities you mentioned, but Windows XP Home doesn’t allow that. User accounts can be created and changed from “limited” to “administrator” status in Control Panel.
