This story seems to be doing the rounds, I’m no Apple fan, but when you look at what they are doing it doesn’t seem such a bad idea. The “touch bar” seems a neat enough idea. But then I thought, my Windows 10 laptop has a touchscreen and I just touch the send button, or new mail button, or buy button on my screen. Do you even need this touch bar?
I guess this is the kind of thing that Apple can do that Windows based systems are going to struggle to follow.

Perhaps it comes down to how you use the keyboard, professional IT workers are going to be using the function keys and escape keys all the time and I don’t particularly wish to change that – but am I being short sighted here? I shouldn’t be afraid to change if there is a better solution
