ParticipantAh good thread, unlike OS’s I’ve not had many consoles, as I was a PC gamer for a long time right from Pac Man and Doom up to Half-Life 2.
Well here’s the very short list of games consoles/handhelds I’ve owned (it doesn’t get any longer if I count the rest of my family either):-
Gameboy Advance
Nintendo DS Lite
Nintendo WiiNot sure if they count but I’ve probably spent far more time playing games on the following devices:-
Palm M100
Psion Revo
Compaq iPAQ 3950
Palm LifeDrive
Apple iPhoneFebruary 1, 2009 at 8:20 pm #182096Rsaeire

MemberBack in the 1980’s I had a hand-held LED based shoot-em-up, unfortunately the name escapes me after all this time. Didn’t bother with anything else until I bought a Nintendo DS a few years back, for the brain training games obviously 😉

MemberKinda average list from me:
Megadrive
Gameboy (original)
N64
Playstation
Dreamcast
Playstation 2
Xbox 360I still rate the Dreamcast, it should have been Sega’s saviour it had some top notch games but the damage had already been done with the Saturn I guess. I just hope we don’t end up with Microsoft ruling the console world, competition is a good thing!

I agree. The Dreamcast was ahead of its time and was leaps and bounds better than the Playstation at the time, but unfortunately, after a couple of misses, such as the 32X and the Saturn, Sega ended up peddling their wares as mere a software developer; a far cry from their lofty heights atop the gaming industry during its Mega Drive II hey-day.March 19, 2009 at 11:43 am #182109Fifi
MemberMy first console was Nintendo Gamecube and my first handeld was Nintendo GBA SP.
Now have DS and Wii also xbox360 and PS3. I like pc games also but play my consoles in the lounge whilst lying on the sofa……so that’s ususally first choice.

MemberI’ve had:
Amstrad CPC464 (with colour monitor)…good ole cassette tape drive built into the keyboard…
Nintendo N64
Playstation 2 (old)
Playstation 2 (slim)
Pink Ltd Edition PSP, licensed by P!nk herself… (:yea kinda girly really but boy did it look good in Pink – and some git nicked it…..)
Xbox 360 Pro (latest version with 60Gb hdd not the older 20Gb version) – still got this one…
Sammy NC10 (well I do game on it so I think it counts as a games console!!)Does the iPod Touch count as a handheld game console? If so, then I’ve had a 1st Gen 8Gb iPod Touch which I later flogged to my boss not long after getting Sammy…
