Maybe you could go to Rockstar Games Classics site, they offer GTA and GTA2 for free download if you sign up. I haven’t used it myself though.^^ and if you want to buy it, check steam: http://store.steampowered.com/search/?term=auto

tried the free download on the rockstar site
i registered and received an email from rockstar with a link
i clicked on link and it direceted me to the rockstar site but it was a blank screen witht the words “I’m Here”
in the top left hand corner

just set up steam account and paid for gta vice city via paypal.
it sooooo easy to do, even i managed it
downloading it now, can’t wait to play it on my sammy

It appears that the link contains your email address, does you email address contain any unusual characters?
You don’t have redirects disabled in your web browser do you?I haven’t tried installing it yet as I’m doing some work and I’ll have to reboot into Windows.
EDIT: Installed GTA in a virtual machine, and it works fine.

never mind, i’ve purchased GTA vice city from steam, it downloaded and installed fine, and it plays great too.
so i’ll have many hours of gaming fun on my sammy now.
thanx for all the help & adviceAge of Empires 3 works on med-low settings. I’ve tried War Chiefs and vanilla AOE3.
AOE2 also works btw.
GTA vice city is working brilliant, but i finding it a bit awkward with all the buttons i need to remember (memory not as good as it used to be).

any suggestions?STALKER – Shadow of Chernobyl runs, but it’s so slow it borders on unplayable, even after I applied all the performance tweaks I know of. According to the built-in FPS counter: outside with nobody around 8-10 FPS, taking on a couple of dogs/soldiers it drops to 4-5 FPS. The game does support 800×600 and 1024×600 though. I still managed to clear a bandit camp with no mouse, just using the touchpad. 🙂
Don’t think it’s been mentioned, I’ve played House of the Dead 2 and Need For Speed Porsche Unleashed successfully and definetely playable
Tried NFS Most Wanted and it’s okay when there’s no other cars on the track! Will be trying NFS Underground 1 and 2 soon, as you can tell I love the NFS Series !!!!!
Caesar 3 works fine on my NC10, although you do have to have the CD in a attached drive for it to work, though I’m sure there are ways around that.
Zeus Master of Olympus also works, and if you pick a full install when you install, it does work without the cd on both the NC10, and my normal lappie, even if it says it doesn’t.(Both in XP)
