Coriolan
MemberYou guys just seem not to miss a single “Hello, world!” topic. So I couldn’t resist to post one more. Hi there from Moscow, typing these very letters from my freshly obtained black nc10… That was a long wait since I decided to buy a netbook this summer. Awkwardly nothing could fit me until this one released. And if there was not that ridiculous glossy fingerprint magnet on the screen back – I couldn’t wish for more.

Must be cold in MoscowDecember 6, 2008 at 6:59 am #173979Coriolan
MemberNot really. Besides, I’ve got my bear right next to me – it’s furry and warm.
In fact, it’s +10C here…December 6, 2008 at 8:31 am #173972jez
MemberWelcome to the site! Sounds warmer than it is here in the UK. Its freeeezing here. Where did you get your NC10 from? Are they easy to get in Russia?

MemberWow i always pictured Moscow covered in snow…
It’s about 2C here today very frostyDecember 6, 2008 at 12:48 pm #173980Coriolan
MemberNC10 is available at a couple of major retailers here. Got mine through a small one I use to shop at. It costs about 530USD here. White and blue ones with 80 or 160Gb hdds, black only 160, but no bluetooth. They promise to bring bluetooth on blacks right after New Year. Odd…
The promised to start sales in early November, but actually laptops hit the shops last week only. There is no shortage now. You just book one via web-shop or walk in and buy.
One must cosider that Moscow is an entire different planet than Russia… Don’t know how it is outside the city borderline.December 6, 2008 at 3:50 pm #173974Becky
MemberWelcome Coriolan. 🙂 Great to hear that the NC10 is popping up all over the place and that availability appears to be good. Interesting that your models don’t currently have Bluetooth though, seems to be standard everywhere else.

[/quote1228635891]I heard that the German version (which I’m waiting for) doesn’t have BT either.

MemberI could have said it not clear – forgive me my english… White ones do have BT here, don’t know for sure about the blue ones, but I’ve read – yes. And there is no bluetooth on blacks… Anyway never used it.

MemberSo whether you get BT or not depends on which colour you buy?!

Not really. Only the first batch of black netbooks won’t have BT. -
