Memberthe huge german electronics shop chain mediamarkt will have them, but as i recall it was quite pricey now that the pound is so low.

ParticipantAs a side note, If you buy it in Germany you will probably get one without Bluetooth.

Memberas an aside why has BT been removed for the German Market ?
Is the hardware still there or is it simply disabled?

[/quote1230404353]I was in Frankfurt, Lyon and Stuttgart airports two weeks ago and none of them had the NC10 that I could find, I was specifically looking for one as well.
They had it in Manchester at about £310 ish as I recall.

MemberOK, but if you get one without bluetooth, you can add it later right?
December 28, 2008 at 3:44 pm #177512Alfihar
ParticipantI expect you could add Bluetooth afterwards,
though I’m not sure whether it will be an easy plug it in, or whether it will require difficult to obtain parts and precision soldering as I can’t find any pictures of the German NC10 to see which parts are missing.
At worst you could use an external usb bluetooth dongle.

Memberouch they is pricey over in Europe €449 !!!
Anyways another random question
Why on the German Site is it still described as having a 10.2″ screen?
Surely the Continentals should be referring to it as a 25.9 cm screen or would that mean reanaming it as a NC26 ;o)

MemberWell, I’m form Sweden, and we always measure the display in inch, and btw, Vodafone is selling the 3g NC10 (http://shop.vodafone.de/Shop/privat/product_details.jsp?menuKey=1057&_DARGS=/Shop/core_details.jsp) for 479, without subscription and without simlock :D. The 3g card should also be compatible with OS X 😛

MemberJust seems curious even on the UK site all the measurements are primarily metric except the monitor size.
Wonder of there’s a reason for that ?

MemberIn Holland we also use the inch for monitor and tv size. Very strange but we tend to use a lot of english words in our language so no one is talking about cm anymore. Even the mobile get referred to in inches. For the price, yo should be able to get one for 399 euros but every store here will try to take you for an extra ‘tenna’ especially in big electronic stores it pays of to negotiate a price. Not common in our country but it works for me every time 😉
