MemberSome people have had problems with Football Manager and netbooks.
You have to create a shortcut of the exe – then right-click it and select Properties. You then need to add some parameters on the end of the Target add ‘ -small_screen -windowed’ (without the both ‘)
I have just installed FM2007 and after modding it, it is running fine.
I’ll try FM2008 as well. The jump in minimum specs from 2007 to 2008 was quite large (800MHz to 1.2GHz).
Recommended CPU for 2007 was 2GHz and for 2008 2.2GHz.
2008 is potentially overkill.
FM 2009 will be overkill and I won’t bother installing it.
Still, 2007 is good enough – better than playing it on a hand-held.

MemberMake sure the game is set to internally play in Windowed mode
Options – Preferences – Display & Sound – make sure that Full Screen is not ticked.

MemberNot sure – which FM are you running? You may also want to download any patches for the particular version.
Do you get any error messages other than just a black screen?

[/quote1229011344]Hey there mate,
Yep it is deffo not selected internally. The screen is really messed up, I cant acutally see any information such as “sound settings” and i cant see player stats as it wont let me scroll down.

MemberHas anyone succeeded in running fm09 in nc10? I have installled the game with the patch and when I run the exe file, it loads on the background but nothing happens on the screen? Help is much appreciated.

MemberAlso without the patch and in windowed mode, the black screen comes up in windowed mode and then I get an error message that says that FM needs to shut down
