Hi,
I’ve just got my NC10 and I’m having a problem with the keyboard function (Fn) button. When I type normally the letters that are associated with the function key are typed out, when I hold down the function key the normal letters are typed out, as though the function key is working the reverse of how it should work.
For example, typing normally, when I press the “U” key it types out “4”, and when I type the “P” key it types out “*”, however when I type the keys while holding the “Fn” key down it types out “U” and “P” correctly.
I’ve never known anything like this before, if anyone has any idea what’s going wrong and how I can correct it I’d be very grateful to know,
Thanks for reading,
Julie
Try holding down the Fn key and whilst depressed press F11 (Num Lock)
Thanks a lot, its working perfectly now,
Julie
