Can somebody please explain to me what this function key combination means? I see three settings when I click on it repeatedly: Silent Mode, Normal Mode, Speed Mode.
What do these mean/do? Is it anything like making the system run slower or faster?
I appreciate any information to describe it to me. Thanks.
Silent Mode is meant to make the fan run less by reducing the performance,
Speed Mode is supposed to speed up the application you currently have selected.
Can anyone please tell me why the mode switch window appears when I am typing something on the keyboard without actually hitting FN+F8 combination?
It just somehow pop ups then disappears – it’s really annoying…
Is there an option to turn that off?
