Just wondering what USB sticks people would recommend with fast transfer rates.
I currently have a 2GB Sandisk cruzer micro. Great size and durability, but very slow transfer speeds.
I’m curious as to what would be a good program to measure transfer speed? I just got a small sony stick and would be nice to know how fast it is.
Just ordered this16Gb USB drive from MyMemory.co.uk for £19.99 delivered 15mbps read 12mbps write, seemed like decent performance for the money.
You could use software such as HDTach or transfer a file to and from the stick and time it. I prefer the lazy option!
EDIT: Sandra lite shows you both read and write speeds.
