I’ve got NC10 & 3g dongle + IPAQ 6915 with WM5 (which is unfortunately not 3g enable). Now I don’t know how to connect the PDA to the Internet using Bluetooth. So, If anybody has tried this and would like to share the step by step guide or point me to any link, it would be highly appreciated.
hi, i have a nc 10 , 3g and a hp hw6915 pda (from work) so ill play around and see what i can come up with. our pdas are on voda and are 3g enabled, i take it you want to utilise the high speed hdspa link from 3g and share this was your pda
i have had a little play with not much luck but it is late. From what i have gathered so far you need to
Pair device from the laptop.
In my network places click on properties for your 3g modem, click on sharing and enable sharing this connection on this computer
then in my bluetooth places click on my bt services and right click propeties of the network access. and in the drop down box select allow connection to lan and internet on this pc.on the hw6915 goto settings connections , bluetooth manager and then click new, click explore a bluetooth device and select your laptop from the list.
it will list a load of services scroll down and click network connection and click finish
a shortcut on your pda will now be shown right click on it and click connect, your lappy should ping clcik on the bubble and allow access.
now, thats as far as i got and its late so it gives you a heads up and if you have no luck ill try again during work tommorrow

Thanks for your reply. I have managed to pair the device using bluetooth but no luck with the internet connection yet. I am not too sure if I am missing anything. If you manage to successfully access the internet, please do let me know. (Please note that bluetooth is just an option, I don’t know if we can share the internet using 3g dongle and WIFI on PDA and WIFI on NC10)
im gonna work on this tonight and have reset my nc10 to the state before i tried yesterday so i can document different things. the hp 6915 pda can link directly to any wifi device out of the box but i too would like to see if the 3g can link can be shared so i can install vpn and get work emails and files on the device at higher speeds
