I’m not aware of any other alternatives at the moment but i’m sure it won’t be long until there is a “generic” cheaper alternative.
it’s probably a good investment to buy that particular one if you need a car charger.
the only real alternative just now would be to buy a small cig lighter mains inverter and plug the standard wall psu into it.How about something like this?
It’s considerably cheaper and also powers USB devices.
There’s a much cheaper alternative 12V charger, probably…. I need to investigate more, but watch this space. Should be about £12.99.

I wouldnt reccomend the last option, because those inverters have a unrouned sinus curve, which means the laptop charger gets hot more and it could damage your charger and battery.[quote1228492324=Becky]
