Hey all,
I will be coming to London next weekend and I would like to buy a white NC10 with tax free shopping (re-claim the VAT when I leave the country). Can anyone please tell me the best places to go, for the best prices. I can see that they sell it in Heathrow Dixons Duty Free for £280, but they only have the blue and I’m fixed on a white one.
Thanks,

Try Tottenham Court Road – full of electronic stores 🙂
There’s a good shopping guide to the road – if you click on one of the westside or eastside links you’ll see an image of the shops in that zone.

[/quote1235214070]Thanks TC Muffin, I’ve visited Tottenham Ct Rd before and the only thing that put me off was having to haggle for everything. Never the less I will try and get down there.Karl

Go there with a firm idea of what price you want to pay and be prepared to walk out of the store if they will not play ball 😉
There’s a specialist Samsung/Bose store at numbers 20-21
Enjoy your trip 🙂

I just called up the Samsung Bose store and they have the White in stock for £310 and they do Tax Free shopping. I’ll probably get about £30 back (with commission). Not badFebruary 21, 2009 at 1:46 pm #184573YsabelMemberYou can find white in Micro Anvika for £322.
You might want to look at the pink one. It looks a very good finish – I am no expert on whether it is matt or gloss. I think it is matt as there is no reflection. Don’t think it will attract much fingerprints.
If you like white, you might want to look at the NC20 for £399 before claiming back VAT. Will cost you around £346 plus the admin charge for the VAT claim form. 🙂
