I’ve just got my NC10 but cant connect via bluetooth to anything, I want to transfer photos from my phone but have no idea what the NC10 default passcode is, can anyone tell me?
The default Bluetooth passcode is generally 0000.
I am pretty green with Bluetooth but when I tried (successfully) to pair with my phone I was prompted to input a passcode of my choice which was then asked for on the phone.
Most of the time you are given the option to enter a code of your choice, but some devices come with a default code e.g. headsets, watches, car-kits etc, so in these cases, it would be 0000.
usually 0000 as others have stated
I think you need to pair with the phone from the laptop as opposed to trying to send stuff from your phone (right click Bluetooth tray icon and add device) then you can specify your own passcode which you will be prompted to enter on your phone. I have a Nokia E65 and it works fine with the bluetooth software on the NC10 and I can even browse the file system on the phone so no need for slow Nokia software.
