OK, I’m pretty pissed – Overstock.com said they had blue ones, yet I took order of my NC10 today and guess what? IT’S WHITE! Oh well, no pixel problems and everything seems in order, so I’m not going to complain. Guess I’m going to get a skin for it though … and at least it matches my iPhone.

New to the forums but I am getting impatient as Samsung is dangling the carrot in our respective faces and not releasing anything!I have a blue one on order and won’t have it before Thanksgiving unless Samsung steps up the game 🙁
The white US version is here already… why not blue also? Anyone in the USA have a blue version yet? If so, how did you get your hands on one?

I called Samsung in the US today… The guy told me that he had been told that the shipments of BLUE nc10s left their warehouse on November 14th and therefore should be in retailer warehouses any day.
It feels like an awful long turnaround to me, but I have no idea how long these things normally take.

[/quote1227563135]I don’t know where their warehouse is, but if it’s overseas then the goods will probably arrive via ship. That would explain the long turnaround.

Woohoo! thanks for the heads up. For some reason my pre-order was still showing it wont be shipped until after Christmas, but I called and they had me place the order again and it seems good now for delivery next week. I was pretty reluctant to cancel my pre-order .. the person on the phone wasn’t the sharpest tack, but it worked out I think.
My pre-order was displaying the same post-Christmas delivery flag, so I ended up doing the same thing — cancelling and placing the order again.
It’s a shame we won’t have the units in hand by Thanksgiving (I was REALLY looking forward to using it for a Thanksgiving trip), but hey — I can wait a few more days, right?

[/quote1227655411]Yep, been waiting for the blue to show up in stock somewhere. I’m not particularly keen on Amazon’s price– $488 seems a little high to me, even with free shipping. I’m thinking the price should be around 469, which would bring it more in line with the selling price in the UK. Newegg (my favorite computer netailer) has the white NC10 at this price point, with free shipping, but still show no sign of the blue version on their site. I had originally intended to get my son a blue Aspire One for Christmas, but the only advantage the Acer has over the NC10 is in the media card reader. The NC10 smokes it in every other category. I’d rather pay the extra $100 for a better machine that will be easier to use and (hopefully) last longer..
Just ordered mine today from Amazon. Got the Blue one. Estimated delivery date is Debember 4. Can’t wait!!
