Anyone getting fairly frequent blue screen of death (BSOD) system crashes running Vista?
I use my NC10 a lot (plugged in to a USB mouse/keyboard and monitor during the day, and on its own in the evening). And switch networks quite often.
I get the BSOD quite a few times a week, and after restarting, Windows always blames the Wireless network adaptor.
I am running the latest drivers for this (from Windows Update), but the same crashes occured with previous WLAN drivers too.
Just wondered if anyone else has seen this? Wonder if its something I’ve switched on and shouldn’t have? I turned on DEP in the BIOS, because it sounded like a good idea. But wonder if it could be this.
I have installed Vista Ultimate 32bit, and have had two BSOD’s, they were caused whenever I used the webcam application in conjunction with Windows Live Messenger, I have updated all my drivers and so far have not had any BSOD’s. I’ll let you know if it happens again, all good so far with 2gb ram, very happy with it overall.
Cheers and good luck!
Hi, I get the bsod when running my bluetooth headphones.
Never got it under xp and it never happens when not using the headphones.
