TheRing
Memberim a bit of a geek when it comes to gadgets (nope this isnt gadgets annonymous) i just love the whole process from waiting to get the item to moving onto the next gadget when im bored. But i have to say ive warmed to this little baby. Normally i buy hack in some way and then sell on because im bored. But i think this ones gonna last, so much potential, Having owned the asus eee originally this is miles apart and is actually a very useable competent machine. I gotta say this is most def aided by samsung recovery which i think is a cracking little tool, for if i make a bodge up 10 mins later alls restored, other manufacturers should take note.
Anyways having purchased many gadgets this year i have decided to award it the following rewards:
Therings Gold Award for longest lasting gadget ive owned 2008
TheRings Gold Award for least boring gadget ive owned
TheRIngs Gold award for the samsung object i own that i get to use rather than spend my time polishing (white one)
TheRIngs Gold award for best adult netbook on the markethmmmm i thinks me needs to get a life (;o)
SO what would you guys award this little beauty
And heres my review for the unit
“Its Great”

MemberMy ‘Most anticipated’ gadget this year….I’ve had to wait nearly a month since first seeing the white one until it will be mine. That is a VERY long time for me!
‘Most googled and lusted after’ gadget…endlessly watching unboxings and other vids on youtube and devouring every new review that appears.
Jez – you’re not a geek, you are a genius! Anyway, I am used to being endlessly labelled a geek by my colleagues at work for being the only teacher who can teach programming and lending my copies of ‘Linux Format’ and ‘PC Pro’ out to pupils. I always tell them I prefer the term ‘technically able’.
