Well when I’m ready to order one (need and NC10 yet!!!), I will mention it and see if anyone else wants to buy one. The shipping stays at the same price regardless how many you order by the way.
December 4, 2008 at 10:10 am #169362doomageMemberI bought the cheap(ish) neoprene case from the carphone warehouse last night. Does the job pretty well I guess, snug fit for NC10. Easy to buy if you’re in a hurry (we’re off to New Zealand tomorrow! can’t rely on internet delivery) – carphone warehouse pretty much everywhere. pink or black neoprene case

Anyone else have:
http://www.amazon.com/Aspire-Mini-Notebook-Premium-Memory-Pouch/dp/B001DAERT6/ref=pd_bxgy_e_text_bThe NC10 is a PERFECT fit!
[/quote1228385417]Can you show us pictures of how your NC10 fits into this case please?
Thank you!

[/quote1228412772]Cheers for this, hubby grabbed one for me while he was in town this afternoon. As you say, it’s a snug fit – I wasn’t sure it would go in when I first saw it, but no probs.
I was pleasantly surprised to find it has a pocket too, which my mouse squeezes into quite nicely.
I might take some photos in a bit if anyone is interested. I got the black one as the pink doesn’t look very nice.

Becky what mouse do you use?Fred
December 4, 2008 at 7:19 pm #169332BeckyMemberFred, I use a Logitech VX Revolution. 🙂
Here’s a photo of the NC10 in the case. I included the mouse in the upper compartment so you can see how it increases the size.
December 4, 2008 at 10:28 pm #169386PugriderMemberToo many choices! I want something I can slip in another bag or carry on its own, so a pocket/compartment for power cord etc. is a must.
The first link has the makers of many models, the others are my top contenders, from most to least favorite. All thoughts are welcome.

December 4, 2008 at 10:58 pm #169357hefMemberhow can you not be terrified of dropping that becky?
neoprene offers little to no shock protection, it merely stops dirt and scuffs.December 4, 2008 at 11:41 pm #169333BeckyMemberI don’t travel a lot, plus it fits in my shoulder bag perfectly. 😀

Here’s one I just bought. I’ll post how it works.
[/quote1228455581]I just got the case today and it fits the laptop very nicely. I don’t think the external zipper pocket is going to work for the power adapter though. I hope someone makes an adapter plug. That cord is enormous!
December 5, 2008 at 10:18 am #169451JohnBlueMemberLike others I’ve been looking for a somewhat protected sleeve to hold my NC10 inside a backpack with my textbooks. I haven’t found anything too interesting yet unfortunately, but in looking at the Proporta company’s offerings I’m wondering if maybe they’ll have a case suitable before long… they have custom cases for the aspire one and EEE series, but nothing for the NC10 just yet.
Here is a 13″ model that looks possible if you could stuff the power cord in first… I assume that would fit?
December 5, 2008 at 1:49 pm #169404tallpaulMemberI was looking at one of these http://www.caselogic.com/case_logic/13_slimline_laptop_case/product_detail/index.cfm?modelid=90719. While they say they are for 13″ laptops, I reckon that it would work well. Anyone any views?
