just got my Samsung NC10 today and already love it. I’ve noticed something that’s bugging me though. It’s to do with the Samsung Network manager, when I try to set up a profile I get as far as entering a profile name and the network key, but no further as the application window disappears at the bottom of the screen. so I can’t select Ok or Next or whatever is below the screen.
i can’t resize or move the window up either.
anyone else find this and there is there a work around.
i just had this happen on a certain news client i use, if an app is coded old skool then making your changes and hitting enter should suffice as “ok” as this is normally set as priority rather than close. I try to drag the box to the very top of the machine to get a glimpse of the boxes. It is rare although not noticed it in the app you mention as i use the intel wifi app. But when i had the atheros card installed i tended to just use windows zero config for network
There’s a small freeware app called MoveMe (http://www.damnsoft.org) which allows you to move dialog boxes around using the Windows + arrow keys.
Thanks, I downloaded iit and it worked a treat. Well recommended
