I have a Samsung NP530U4B. I just recovered my laptop using Samsung Recovery Solution 5 and now all the drives except the C drive is hidden. I didn’t take backup of my data, so is there any way to get back all the data ?
And now when I try to run Recovery Solution again, it says recovery area not found.
download (Free) Easeus Partition Master (Majorgeeks.com usually have it in Drive utilities)
With PM you can see which partitions are on the hard drive AND if ‘hidden’, Un-Hide them
Easeus also do a (Free) Partition Recovery program
Judging from my experience with Samsung Laptop and Netbooks, you should have the following partitions..
100Mb System – Hidden System start up files
approx 15Gb Recovery – Hidden – the original – to rebuild back to DAY 1 via F4 at boot up
an NTFS maybe 40Gb for Windows
Maybe another Recovery partition for any F4 at start up Backups made
the D Drive – which should be the rest of the Hard Disk
The above list is NOT written in stone and may be different
Hope this was helpful
