MemberI have adobe master suite and I was thinking of putting it into my samsung (upgraded to 2GB ram) . I don’t intend to use it on daily basis but just for a quick fix at a coffee shop or somewhere when I’m not in front of my desktop.
I’ve searched for similar threads and read controversial responses and was wondering if it is recommended.
Thank you!

MemberI tried downloading and the setup says it is recommended that i have the screen resolution of 1024 x 768. Samsung’s max screen resolution is 1024 x 600, but it really doesn’t seem to be too big of a difference. Will this significantly affect how the software is run?

MemberI have Adobe CS3 running on my Sammy with 2GB RAM.
Right click on desktop, select Properties (not Graphics Properties).
Click Settings tab.
Click Advanced button.
Click Monitor tab.
Uncheck box “Hide modes that this monitor cannot display”.
Click OK button.
Change Screen Resolution slider to 1024×768.
Now try to install/run your software and it should work.January 23, 2009 at 8:35 am #180987mossmotorsport

+1Running it on Vista Ultimate with 2Gb RAM.
Another way to install it without the setup program grumbling is to plug in an external monitor.

MemberThanks for all the replies! The setup went smoothly and I don’t seem to have any trouble using the software.
When I clicked off the “hide modes that this mode cannot display” though, it says that clearing this check may lead to unusable display and/or damaged hardware. Should I click it back after the setup is finished to protect my hardware? I’m not quite sure what this means.
Thanks again

No, it wont hurt to leave it changed to allow other resolutions.

Memberi have CS4 running surprisingly well on my sammy(w/ 2gb ram of course)… i didnt have to change my resolution to install or run it though…
getting to my question now:
My sammy doesnt have the option to uncheck the “hide modes” button… its all just greyed out : (would this possibly be due to the fact im using Win7???
I’ve updated all my drivers and everything and it still will not allow me to change the resolution…Any ideas here???
(o and ive tried the resolution manager program… that didnt work for some reason either,,,) -
