UPDATE: Dixons have updated their prices to default of £295.04 which is a bit higher than it was before by a couple of pounds.
Using the SAVE5 voucher code, this still makes it a very reasonable £290.04 or adding something worth £5 to your order (to make it £299+) you can use the SAVE10 voucher code, in effect getting the £5 item for nothing and bringing price back to £290.04
Still no dixons email dispatch email … 🙁

Dixons Websalesyeah trust me, i had similar problems with their 3-4 working day pledge. I ordered last Tuesday 18th. DHL dropped by only yesterday after exactly a week to deliver, but unfortunately i wasn’t home… damn!
guess i will have to wait til saturday to collect it myself.
so Tomasinho, i would say you should get it delivered exactly a week after you ordered it.. because if you look earlier in the thread there were delays with DSG group who also deliver to comet, pc world and currys…

I ordered a blue one from Dixons last Thursday, having got nothing from them I emailed them last night querying what was happening. This morning the reply came back that it had just been dispatched and gave me the DHL tracking number. A quick check on the DHL site didn’t recognise the tracking number given. However a couple of hours later it was in their system. So hopefully it’ll arrive in a couple of days. So whether it was the prompting that got it dispatched or not I don’t know.
AdrianHmm, I ordered a black one from Dixons on Monday and haven’t got a dispatch email. Whilst it is only Wednesday now I might email them and see if it helps prompt them to get onto it. I was hoping to get it by Friday but that’s not looking likely.
Styx, same deal. I ordered late Sunday night – still no despatch email.
I was also hoping to have it by friday.
I hope they’re not out of stock or anything, their website said it was ‘In Stock’ but you never know if it’s been updated regularly enough to be true. Judging by how good the deal is and how many people are ordering from them (from posts on this site) I hope they haven’t got a backlog of orders. I’ll definetly email them now.
Just noticed on the dixons website that the blue and white are out of stock.
The black is still listed as In Stock.
@Styx, let us know how you get on emailing dixons.Currys and PC World online are now also out of stock for blue and white, they’ve raised their prices to match the instore ones too at £329.99.
Well! my blue one ordered late last Thurs PM finally arrrived today at about 2.00pm. Installed the 2Gb RAM, fired her up and I have busy installing and downloading ever since.
What can I say the blue was worth waiting for and I am very happy with it. Its infinitely better than a dead Vaio!!!!Even Bluetooth between by Samsung Tocco and NC10 worked first time using the Samsung PC Suite.
I was beginning to think those online blues were mythical lol. Glad to hear they are finally turning up.

[/quote1227742620]Haven’t heard back yet but I checked the site there, price has risen to £299.99 including VAT but not including postage and if you put in a VAT3 code you get 3% off. Also blue and white appear to be back in stock.
I thought Dixons was renamed to Currys.digital? I didnt even realise the name was still going. What awful marketing!

[/quote1227745489]In a marketing strategy Dixons became online only and Curry’s digital took on selected vacated high street shops, less shops and Dixons online. So DSG still have Dixons , Currys, maybe the link too (I don’t know) and PC World but less overheads.
