I know there must be a simple answer to this question, but I tried in vain this morning to find how to brighten the screen. So any help on this would be much appreciated.
To Increase the brightness: Fn + Up Arrow
To decrease the brightness: Fn + Down Arrow
To switch the backlight on/off: Fn + F5
Thanks alfi, much appreciated
This obviously works fine using the Samsung software with the pre-loaded XP but what about on a dual boot machine? I ask because I have also installed the Windows 7 beta and now this function is not available. Increasing the brightness in Display Manager does not work the same.

Install the XP versions of Magic Keyboard and Display Manager for this function to work. These are available on the Samsung website.
THanks s162000, I just came back on to answer my own question.
I have just downloaded and installed Samsung’s Easy Display Manager and the Battery Manager and all is now fine.
