Decided to start this thread (not for me but for everyone else) because I find it hard to find the info quickly.
We all know that the NC10 comes in three colors: WHITE, BLACK and BLUE
I have the white one myself and I can only warmly recommend it.
But what are the pros and cons with the different colors?Ok, White one: It is has not at glossy-lid, i.e fingerprint friendly. That’s a big (or HUGE) plus.
The Black one does have a glossy lid much like the Asus EEEPC-models, I myself do not like this, I would not like to see all those smudges all the time.But how about the blue model??? Is the lid glossy or matte? Does it show fingerprints easily or not?
Thread continues with your personal hands-on experiences of the Whtie, Black and Blue version of the NC10… 🙂

Blue makes a nice difference from the more commonly-used black and white but remains a very subtle, elegant shade.
🙂

November 28, 2008 at 2:28 am #171946BeckyMemberlarrybda – the lid on the blue has a pearlised glitter look which comes across as grainy in photos – it’s like the premium metallic finish you often see on cars. It’s completely smooth however. 🙂

November 28, 2008 at 1:57 pm #171947Sam SungMemberI ordered a blue, for several reasons.
1.its my favourite colour;
2. Its something different from the normal black laptop colour;
3. I thought it would be a good compromise between the black (boring) and the white (too er, white!)
4. I liked becky’s photos of her blue baby.
November 28, 2008 at 2:25 pm #171948asfr01MemberWell I ordered white. Ive always had black laptops and felt like a wee change. The white is the only one i have seen… in real life (lol)… and to be honest i thought it looked quite smart. A bit worried about getting it dirty though…
November 28, 2008 at 3:21 pm #171944Sandy_UKMemberI was tempted to get the white but having checked out all the three colours in store, I fell in lov with the shiny black sammy! Finger magnet…ah well I’m ready to live with that.
I didn’t like the blue one though….IMHO, looks like a cheap plastic toy from China lolz
White and Black ….both are great ! of course, this is my personal opinion…heheheNovember 28, 2008 at 5:11 pm #171949TCMember[quote1227891883=asfr01]

[/quote1227891883]Ditto here. I’ve taken a liking to the white — at least what I can see of it at long distance 🙁 — but I’m a bit worried about the dirtying factor. Not the outside so much as the inside surfaces where fingers touch constantly. Can anyone report on this from (obviously limited) experience? Are the inside surfaces smooth? That should help in cleaning (we once had a white phone that was very slightly textured, sort of grainy; only bleach would clean it, and even then not all that well).
