Thanks for the tip but I have a few tools to do that anyway. I left the hidden partition there on purpose as I was hoping I could write my second backup to it as well but it can’t be seen from the Samsung application apart from restoring. I did think about deleting the recovery partition when I was doing creating the partitions for the fresh install but figured I could use it to do a ‘factory’ reset if I wished e.g. for selling. I’m sure I’ll end up just doing another clean in a month’s time and blowing it away then but we’ll see after I spend some time with it. I think this netbook will be a keeper. Only thing I dislike is the trackpad but I will get used to it in time I’m sure.
