I’m similar to Jezza in that I liked the idea of a tiny notebook so tried a few out. The Asus 701 was very portable but the keyboard was just too cramped and one of the things I wanted this for was for forum posting. I sold that and picked up the Asus 900 model early which has the bigger 1024×600 resolution but still the same keyboard at the 701 model and decided the keyboard was definitely the limiting factor so had that on Ebay within the hour. I finally held off and got the Advent 4211 which is a great netbook with an excellent screen and very good keyboard. I was happy with that although I hated the position of the right shift and @ key combination – a pita but not a deal breaker. What did turn into a deal breaker was the wait for a 6 cell battery – my ship date kept getting put back and the NC10 was now available and it was going to work out cheaper to get the NC10 than the Advent and a 6 cell battery. Picked up the NC10 and sold the Advent and I’m very happy with my choice. The Advent is a great netbook but the NC10 overall seems the better purchase.
