for me I was always a fan of small laptops. I did own a 14.1 inch before, but I always wanted a 12″. After my HP 14.1 was stolen I bought a second hand Toshiba r100 of ebay, I am quite happy with it but… it is an old machine and I am reacing my last year of phd so i needed something that would work on the go (just cos that is what I need on a laptop) and something that would be more “recent”.
I always liked those 11.1 sony (way too expensive), but i am from the opinion that there is no point buying an extra powerfull laptop and spending loads of money if you only use it to browse the net, use the office package and download some movies, mp3 etc.
I was actually planning to buy the new macbook 13.3 aluminum. In the end I felt it was to heavy, to big, and to expensive.
After a long decision about colours I have decided on the black version, which I have ordered on monday from dixons, the 293-5 deal, and hasn’t yet arrived! I wish I have read the RAC deal from play.com first. next day delivery and 299-5%! (damn!)
