Hello and good evening,
first of all I want to thank all for this great forum, I read several hours once I found it.
I recently bought an N110, and what shall I say, I am totally satisfied. Before, I got two faulty Asus 1000HE, both with display failures (one had 1/3 of the screen greenish, the other one after 2 hours a green pixel line on the right). Since I know Samsung is the best display manufacturer (own several of them), I decided to go for this one, and I am really pleased.
With the help of you all I had no problems to make this cute thing work under Vista.
Only Bluetooth is bothering me. First I installed the version from the x360 and found out, that there is no option to deactivate the BT adapter.
Then I went straight to the version from the Broadcom site and – what a surprise – I got the option to deactivate the BT adapter. Since I do not need it sometimes it saves a lot of battery.
But then I wanted to pair my Nokia HS-12W Headset and got everytime a failure message, Parameter is not supported. Could not make the stereo Audio work.
I then decided to go for the Lenovo version, uninstalled the otherone first. Now I finally got the BT stereo audiosink working – beautiful. But surprise: no option to turn off the BT!
Then I just left the Headset paired and ran straight the update from the broadcom page on top of the lenovo version.
Result:
Headset working AND turn off bluetooth option – YIPPEEEEYAIEEE!
So this worked at least. But what I found out – the Audio tab is missing. Before with the Lenovo BT it was there and with the Broadcom install on a clean system as well (although it was not working).
So for me helped:
– Install Lenovo BT
– Pair Headset, try Audio
– Install Broadcom update on top.
Hope this helps,
BR
