I can’t say for sure, but, for example, when I downloaded the synaptic drivers for my trackpad it kept crashing. So I downloaded the ones from the above link and all was good. Same for the MagicKBD etc. I don’t think it’s offical, but it works 100% for me. The only caveat is I can’t turn off Bluetooth. Wifi yes, volume yes, but nothing to switch off bluetooth, which is a bit odd.
But otherwise perfect, I can use a bluetooth modem etc, all the things I could ‘out of the box’ under xp. So yeah, they worked for me, I hope they work for you.
Oh, I haven’t checked VGA yet, but that would be an intel issue, so get it from their site. There is a wierd online updater that checks your system then updates it automatically. An intel 950 chipset or something if memory serves.
Oh, make sure you get the vista drivers, the xp ones are also on there. Just in case you didn’t notice…
My system now runs as a 2.7 under the vista experience score :-). I’m very happy with it. Today I encrypted the whole system with Truecrypt. It still worked perfectly, but a bit slower (to be expected as it decrypts on the fly). Great if you carry important info on your netbook.
Hope it helps.
