Hey everyone, I’m glad everyone is enjoying their new nc10s.
I’ve got my copy of Vista up and running but there seem to be a few gottchas. The first is that I can’t use sleep when I close the lid, or the screen doesn’t turn on afterwards and I have to force shutdown. This can be easily resoloved by setting the action to hibernate in the power options though. Still, it does slow things down a bit. Anyone have sleep working or is it just my set up? (I did an upgrade rather than clean install… I wanted to see how many sumsung drivers would work in vista. Unsurprisingly, none as far as I can tell.
Secondly, I was wondering if there was a way to remap the functions like volume and brightness back to the keys. I can’t find the settings to put wifi and bluetooth off (although I’m sure I could) but I would rather remap the keys in vista. I’m going to try and find and run ‘magicKbd.exe’ on the cds that came with it, we’ll have to see if that works…. any suggestions?
Otherwise all good, bluetooth, camera, trackpad, LAN and sound needed the drivers from samsung’s website, otherwise it is working perfectly.
