I’ve had problems playing h264 and .mkv files – audio and video will just stop with h264 every 2 minutes and then the video will start up again but all fragmented and glitchy however the audio won’t start again. Also .mkv files are just all over the place and subtitles don’t seem to work.
I’ve always used VLC on my main computer and never had any real problems playing anything in the past with it. I’ve tried a number of different approaches now such as uninstalling VLC and installing Klite and MPC and stuff but it’s just the same. I am beginning to think there’s just not enough CPU power to handle them lol. VLC i think can sometimes just not be terribly efficient – probably because it tries to do so much.
Any suggestions would be welcome…i may just not have my settings properly configured or something.
