Did anyone else strip the RAM cover screw.
Well, I did. I was so upset.
I got angry and took a small razorblade and popped up the panel from the part of the cover furthest from the screw. In other words, right above the small tabs in the memory cover slot that you insert first when putting it back on. So, I pop up both sides and then slide the memory cover 90 degrees. Mind you, the screw is still in place.
Pop in my Corsair 2GB/667MHz module and it worked pefect. Popped the RAM cover back in place and off I went.
I also noticed an eBay auction for the NC10 where the seller stated “one of the screws is stripped” LOL I bet it’s the RAM slot.
