Hi, I’m still waiting for my NC10 to arrive (Dixon’s confirmed it shipped today).
However I have emailed Samsung and Crucial re ram upgrade. Reply from Samsung was:
“The supported memory is DDR2 SODIMM 667mhz however if you put 800mhz in the machine it will work but under clock the memory back down to 667mhz due to the hardware specifications.
In short you if you would like to upgrade to 2gb memory you should get a 2gb DDR2 SODIMM 667mhz.”
Whilst Crucial confirmed that:
“The memory recommended by Samsung is the correct part that you require and below is a link to this on our website which is fully compatible.
http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/partspecs.aspx?imodule=CT25664AC667 “
However I also bought this part from Ebuyer as it is cheaper there. Their product code, as quoted previously, is 142421.
Now I’ve just got to install it when they both arrive.
