I ordered a blue one from Dixons last Friday and hope to receive it early next week. I also used the voucher code so assuming it arrives will be very happy.
I emailed them to ensure they actually had stock as I already had an open order with Dabs.com which I have now cancelled. Even Dabs.com have increased their prices since I ordered.
Strangely, because I went for standard delivery my order has been “processing “ever since I ordered. From the email reply it seems they sit on the order for the first three days and then despatch it for next day delivery.
Having spent £1500 on a Sony TR5MP four years ago I was determined to avoid Sony and go cheaper. two keyboards, one motherboard and two hard drives later it still works but the HDD is becoming very noisy again.
I don’t expect to be disappointed with the NC10. I have ordered a 2gb RAM upgrade from Crucial for £21 whether it will help I am not sure but for the price seemed worthwhile.
